<br />CASSELBERRY STAFF RETREAT <br />MARCH 1, 2007 <br /> <br />The Casselberry senior staff met on March 1, 2007 to review the goals, objectives, and <br />priorities established by the City Commission at their workshop on February 17, 2007. <br />Marilyn Crotty facilitated the staff retreat. <br /> <br />The group wrote goal statements for each of the nine goals identified by the Commission: <br /> <br />· To champion development and redevelopment that ensures a sustainable <br />community <br /> <br />· To ensure safety and enhance the appearance and quality of life through the <br />adoption and equitable enforcement of appropriate codes <br /> <br />· To provide quality infrastructure that enhances the standard of living for the <br />community <br /> <br />· To create a new image of Casselberry as a beautiful, connected, and <br />respected community that anyone would be proud to call "home" <br /> <br />· To ensure the ComrnissionlManager form of government facilitates effective <br />governance and efficient delivery of services <br /> <br />· To maximize technology to enrich services for the community <br /> <br />· To grow the city's jurisdictional boundaries through annexations that <br />correspond with the delivery of municipal services and enhance the city's <br />sustainability <br /> <br />· To ensure fiscal accountability and sustainability to meet the changing needs <br />of the community <br /> <br />· To provide safe and efficient transportation options to connect local and <br />regional destinations <br />
