<br />RESOLUTION 04-1500 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />ENDORSING A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF LOCAL <br />GOVERNMENTS IN SEMINOLE COUNTY PROVIDING FOR A <br />SUGGESTED AMENDMENT TO FLORIDA STATUTE §23.127(1), TO <br />ALLOW LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS TO ENFORCE TRAFFIC <br />LAWS OUTSIDE THE OFFICER'S JURISDICTION WHEN THE OFFICER <br />IS ON THAT PORTION OF A ROADWAY ADJACENT TO THE <br />OFFICER'S JURISDICTION AND WHEN SAID ROADWAY BISECTS THE <br />OFFICER'S JURISDICTION AND AN ADJACENT GOVERNMENT'S <br />BOUNDARY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (known as "CALNO") <br />adopted a Resolution on June 2, 2004, a copy of which is attached as "Exhibit A"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission of the City of Casselberry desire to endorse <br />CALNO's adoption of said Resolution. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. That the Mayor and City Commission endorse CALNO'S Resolution 04-1 <br />attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and direct the City Clerk to provide a copy of this Resolution to the <br />CALNO Chairperson. <br /> <br />SECTION II.
