SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 04-1124 - REZONING - 88 & 100 <br /> <br />PLUMOSA AVENUE - LISA MERLIN PROJECT <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to read Ordinance 04-1124 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Hart. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 04-1124 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE <br />IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; <br />ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF RMF- 13 FOR THOSE PARCELS <br />DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FO CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Legal Advertisement: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 04-1124 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on April 15, 2004. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Wells stated Ordinance 04-1124 provides for a change in zoning for the subject <br />properties from CG (Commercial General) to RMF-13 (Residential Multi-Family, 13 du/ac). The Planning <br />& Zoning Commission/Land Planning Agency recommended approval of Ordinance 04-1124 at its February <br />25, 2004 meeting by a 4 - 1 vote. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board reviewed the proposed rezoning <br />at its February 10, 2004 meeting, pursuant to a request from the Planning & Zoning Commission. The Parks <br />& Recreation Advisory Board rendered individual recommendations consisting of two (2) members being <br />against, two (2) members being for and one (1) member offering no opinion regarding the proposed rezoning. <br />Ordinance 04-1124 was passed on first reading on March 22, 2004. <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Pronovost asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to address <br />Ordinance 04-1124.
