CASSELBERRY CiTY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of May 10, 2004 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 4 of 17 <br /> <br />Legal Advertisement: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to OrcVmance 04-1127 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on April 29, 2004 and May 6, 2004. <br /> <br />StaffPresentation: Mr. Wells stated Ordinance 04-1127 provides for annexation of a parcel of land located <br />north of Lake Kathryn and east of U.S. Highway 17-92. The property currently conta'ms a single family <br />home that is vacant. The purchasers, Hartman, plan to subdivide the property into three residential lots, <br />renovate the existing home and bff~ld two new homes. The subject property is adjacent to city line, ts, will <br />not create an enclave and generally meets the statutory criteria for annexation as established in Chapter 171, <br />Florida Statutes. Ordinance 04-1127 was passed on first reading on April 12, 2004. Staff recommended <br />approval of Ordinance 04-1127 on second reading. <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Vice Mayor Clark asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to speak either <br />for or against Ordinance 04-1127. No one came forward. Vice Mayor Clark closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner moved to approve Ordinance <br />04-1127 on second and final reading as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Cook. Motion <br />carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote of the City Commission: <br /> <br /> Commissioner Doerner - Yes; Commissioner Cook - Yes; Commissioner Hart - Yes; Vice Mayor <br /> Clark - Yes. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE 04-1130 - SAN PEDRO ANNEXATION <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Hart moved to read Ordinance 04-1130 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Doerner. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 04-1130 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RELATING TO <br />ANNEXATION; MAK1NG FINDINGS; ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN <br />THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, CERTAIN <br />LANDS LOCATED IN SECTION 22, 27 AND 34, TOWNSHIP 21S, RANGE 30E, <br />REDEFINING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR THE INTERIM PROVISION OF LAND DEVELOPMENT <br />REGULATIONS; PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN COUNTY LICENSEES FOLLOWING <br />THEIR BUSINESS, TRADE OR PROFESSION WITHIN THE LANDS TO BE <br />ANNEXED MAY CONTINUE TO FOLLOW SUCH BUSINESS, TRADE OR <br />PROFESSION THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CORPORATE LIMITS WITHOUT THE <br />NECESSITY OF FURTHER QUALIFICATION THEREFORE; PROVIDING THAT THE <br /> <br /> <br />
