CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of May 10, 2004 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 17 of 17 <br /> <br />Thelma McPherson - City Clerk: <br /> <br /> Noted the next Th-County League Luncheon is scheduled for May 20, 2004 and anyone that wishes <br /> to attend needs to respond back to her by May 17, 2004. <br /> <br />Donna Gardner - Staff Assistant to City Commission & City Clerk: <br /> <br /> No report. <br /> <br />Catherine Reischmann - City Attorney: <br /> <br /> Noted the City's recent victory in the Fifth District Court of Appeals pertaining to the McKee <br /> Morgan case has been upheld with the Court denying the motion for reheating. <br /> <br />Frank W. Clifton, Jr. - City Manager: <br /> <br /> Reported the City's roofing contractor had an equipment malfunction earlier in the day which <br /> resulted in the injury of one of the contractor's employees, and the incident probably will be <br /> investigated by OSHA. <br /> Reported the property owners of the former Shell Station located on the comer of U.S. Highway 17- <br /> 92 and Triplet Lake Drive have verbally agreed to sell the property to the City in the amount of <br /> $450,000. Noted the matter will be brought forward at a future meeting for consideration by the <br /> Commission. <br /> Noted City staff participated in the Seminole County disaster preparedness drill last week. Further <br /> noted the City was currently in the process of updating the City's disaster preparedness plan. <br /> Commissioner Cook requested a copy of the plan.
