(TCD) TO PROVIDE THE <br />LABOR & MATERIALS FOR FIRE STATION 21 TRAFFIC SIGNAL; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />BTR g04-042: <br /> <br />INCREASE Acct. #301-0310-522-63,39 <br />(Traffic Signalization) <br />INCREASE Acct. #301-0000-389.90 <br />(Fund Balance Carryover) <br /> <br />$125,802.00 <br />$125,802.00 <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Chief Floyd stated Resolution 04-1495 provides for a cooperative purchase utilizing a <br />Seminole County award of bid with Traffic Control Devices, Inc. for design and installation of the necessary <br />traffic signal on Seminola Boulevard the new Fire Station 21 in the amount of $125,801.63. Staff <br />recommended approval of Resolution 04-1495 and related Budget Transfer Request #04-042 as presented. <br /> <br />Audience Participation: <br /> <br />1) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced concerns regarding the cost for the <br />installation of the traffic signal. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to approve Resolution 04- <br />1495 and related Budget Transfer Request 004-042 as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Doerner. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />7. RATIFICATION OF CIVIL SERVICE BOARD APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Two vacancies cun;ently exist on the Civil Service Board. The City Manager appointed <br />Mary De Pew to fill one of those vacancies and requested ratification of the appointment by the City <br />Commission. One vacancy still remains for the Civil Service Board. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to ratify the appointment of <br />Mary De Pew to the Civil Service Board, term effective <br />to January 2006. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Doerner. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote. <br /> <br /> <br />
