CITIZENS COMMENTS <br />Mayor Henson announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Henson announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individuals came forward: <br />Mr. Andy Searles, 1340 Queen Elaine Drive, thanked former Mayor Glancy for her service <br />and recalled their first meeting at a conference on childhood hunger issues in our schools. <br />He added that heart and passion were the two words he would use to define her tenure as <br />Mayor and thanked her for her leadership and friendship. <br />Mr. Tony Tizzio, 809 Osceola Trail, congratulated and thanked former Mayor Glancy on a <br />great job, noting that as a 46 -year resident of the City he had seen it grow into something <br />really special over the years, and he thanked her for her leadership. He also congratulated <br />his long-time friend Dave Henson on his election, stating that he felt he would do a great job <br />as Mayor and would do extraordinary things for the City. <br />Mr. Jon Miller, former Casselberty City Commissioner, (did not disclose address) stated that <br />he believed that former Mayor Glancy had been one of the most transformative figures in the <br />City of Casselberry, beginning prior to her election with her efforts with a group of citizens <br />called Better Casselberry Now which sought to fight against special interest groups that were <br />negatively impacting the City and to put Casselberry in a whole new positive light. He <br />thanked her for all she has done for the City and for him personally, as well. <br />No one else came forward. <br />6.
