Minutes of April 1, 2019 — City Commission/Parks & Recreation Advisory Board <br />Joint Workshop <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve the minutes of the January 27, <br />2020 Regular Meeting and the April 1, 2019 City Commission/Parks & <br />Recreation Advisory Board Joint Workshop, as presented. Motion was <br />seconded by Vice Mayor Hufford. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote <br />5-0. <br />6. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS <br />No items were presented on this agenda. <br />7. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Resolution 20-3149 — Utility Bill Credits for the Lead and Copper Sampling <br />Program <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE UTILITY BILL CREDITS <br />TO ENCOURAGE QUALIFIED CUSTOMER PARTICIPATION IN THE LEAD AND COPPER <br />SAMPLING PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br />Introduction: Approval of Resolution 20-3149 allowing the City Manager to authorize utility bill credits <br />as incentives to qualified customers for participation in the Lead and Copper Sampling Program is <br />requested. <br />Budget Impact: The budget impact of the incentives for participation in the Lead and Copper Sampling <br />Program are estimated to yield a net reduction in water revenue estimated at $2,000 annually as long as the <br />program is necessary. <br />
