Call to Order with Pledge of Allegiance <br />The December 16, 2005 Meeting of the Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board was called to order <br />with the Pledge of Allegiance by the Chairman at 9:35 a.ttt. in the City Hall Commission Chambers. The <br />Agenda had beets duly posted and circulated to the Board Members by the City Clerk of the City of <br />Casselberiy. <br />Item Added to the Agenda <br />Chief Harkins stated that the Board was in eeceipt of a letter dated December 15, 2005 from the Pet•sonttel <br />Director, Cristina Vivo', requesting the Board approve a change to City Cade Section 62-2002(c} which <br />allows the Police Chief an opt sit window of six month to enter the Police/Fire Pension Plan. The change <br />is for aft extension from six months to one year for the opt in provision for the Police Chief to enter the <br />Pension Plan. if the Board approves the change, the reconunendation ~vili be submitted to the Ci#y <br />Commission at their neat meeting of January 9, 2006. <br />Mr. Schute requested that fitture requests to be submitted to the Board for review should be presented in a <br />mare timely and reasonably fashion. <br />MOTION: Mavecl by Mr. Frank Selcutte to aclcl to the Agenda as <br />Item #14, Change to Sec, 62-2002(c) - Meutbership, <br />Casselberry Cocle of Ordinances, as requested by the <br />Personnel Director in her letter dated Decembet• ] S, <br />2005. Motion was seconded by Officer William Nas <br />and carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />
