CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />The City of Casselberry Board of Adjustment held a public hearing on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at 6:30 P.M., <br />in the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br />Members present were: <br />Earl McMullen <br />Arlin Armour <br />Luis Guzman <br />Brian Suto <br />Phyllis Wallace, Alternate <br />Members absent were: <br />Mary Anne Gauvin <br />Staff members present: <br />Charles Senzee, Planner II <br />Joni Dixon, Sr. Staff Assistant <br />First Item of Business: Swearing in of new member. <br />Mr. Guzman administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Brian Suto and Ms. Phyllis Wallace and welcomed them to <br />the Board of Adjustment. <br />Second Item of Business: Election of Officers <br />Mr. Guzman stated that the Board would postpone the election of officers until the full Board is present, <br />Third Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the public hearing held on Thursday, January 28, 2010 and <br />February 25, 2010. <br />Mr. Guzman postponed the approval of minutes until the next Board of Adjustment meeting. <br />Fourth Item of Business: Disclosure of Ex Parte communications. <br />Mr. McMullen disclosed that he spoke with former Mayor Goff regarding case number BA 09-06. <br />Fifth Item of Business: BA 09.06: 831 Moonlit LanelMichael Savino Continued. Variance request to grant two <br />variances to the Casselberry Unified Land Development Regulations. The variance requests are as follows: <br />1) A variance to Chapter II, Article VII, Section 2-7.9g, "Requirements forswimming pools and/or <br />screen enclosures" to allow a swimming pool 1 deck forward of the front building line of a <br />corner lot. <br />2) A variance to Chapter II, Article VII, Section 2.7.10c, "Residenfial fences or walls"to allow a six <br />foot tall vinyl fence within a designated front yard in lieu of a three foot tall fence which is <br />permitted by code. This request will modify the location of an existing fence which received <br />variance approval in 2007. <br />
