CITY OF CASSELBERRY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT The City of Casselberry Board of Adjustment held a public hearing on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at 6:30 P.M., in the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Members present were: Earl McMullen Arlin Armour Luis Guzman Brian Suto Phyllis Wallace, Alternate Members absent were: Mary Anne Gauvin Staff members present: Charles Senzee, Planner II Joni Dixon, Sr. Staff Assistant First Item of Business: Swearing in of new member. Mr. Guzman administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Brian Suto and Ms. Phyllis Wallace and welcomed them to the Board of Adjustment. Second Item of Business: Election of Officers Mr. Guzman stated that the Board would postpone the election of officers until the full Board is present, Third Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the public hearing held on Thursday, January 28, 2010 and February 25, 2010. Mr. Guzman postponed the approval of minutes until the next Board of Adjustment meeting. Fourth Item of Business: Disclosure of Ex Parte communications. Mr. McMullen disclosed that he spoke with former Mayor Goff regarding case number BA 09-06. Fifth Item of Business: BA 09.06: 831 Moonlit LanelMichael Savino Continued. Variance request to grant two variances to the Casselberry Unified Land Development Regulations. The variance requests are as follows: 1) A variance to Chapter II, Article VII, Section 2-7.9g, "Requirements forswimming pools and/or screen enclosures" to allow a swimming pool 1 deck forward of the front building line of a corner lot. 2) A variance to Chapter II, Article VII, Section 2.7.10c, "Residenfial fences or walls"to allow a six foot tall vinyl fence within a designated front yard in lieu of a three foot tall fence which is permitted by code. This request will modify the location of an existing fence which received variance approval in 2007.
