<br />RESOLUTION 05-1616 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, DETERMINING <br />THE AMOUNT, AND FIXING THE TAXATION AND MAKING THE ANNUAL <br />TAX LEVY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2005/2006 FOR THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR LEVY AND MILLAGE, LEVY <br />LIMITATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission ofthe City of Casselberry, Florida, has determined that a tax levy <br />of 5 mills should be levied on all taxable real and personal property in the City of Casselberry, Florida, for <br />Fiscal Year 2005/2006, from which the total sum of Five Million Six Hundred Fourteen Thousand, Four <br />Hundred and Forty Five Dollars ($5,614,445) is estimated to be levied. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. Levv and Milla!!e. That the levy on all real and personal property on the assessment <br />roll for the year 2006 in the amount of 5.00 mills shall be, and the same is hereby fixed for the Fiscal Year <br />2005/2006 for the purposes of meeting and defraying the necessary expenses for the operation ofthe City. <br /> <br />SECTION II. Levv Limitation. That the levy contemplated herein does exceed the "rolled-back" <br />rate by 7.5 5 percent. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Severabilitv. If any section or portions of a section of this Resolution proves to be <br />invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect <br />of any other section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION V. Effective Date.
