RESOLUTION 05-1616 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, DETERMINING THE AMOUNT, AND FIXING THE TAXATION AND MAKING THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2005/2006 FOR THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR LEVY AND MILLAGE, LEVY LIMITATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City Commission ofthe City of Casselberry, Florida, has determined that a tax levy of 5 mills should be levied on all taxable real and personal property in the City of Casselberry, Florida, for Fiscal Year 2005/2006, from which the total sum of Five Million Six Hundred Fourteen Thousand, Four Hundred and Forty Five Dollars ($5,614,445) is estimated to be levied. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. Levv and Milla!!e. That the levy on all real and personal property on the assessment roll for the year 2006 in the amount of 5.00 mills shall be, and the same is hereby fixed for the Fiscal Year 2005/2006 for the purposes of meeting and defraying the necessary expenses for the operation ofthe City. SECTION II. Levv Limitation. That the levy contemplated herein does exceed the "rolled-back" rate by 7.5 5 percent. SECTION III. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION IV. Severabilitv. If any section or portions of a section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other section or part of this Resolution.
