RESOLUTION 05·1602 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH ASH BRITT, INC. FOR DEBRIS REDUCTION & SITE MANAGEMENT SERVICES RELATED TO ANY DECLARED DISASTER; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to enter into agreements for professional debris reduction & site management as it relates to any declared disaster on a continuing services contract basis; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has advertised for a request for proposals and has received nine (9) such qualifications packages, including experience and qualifications; and WHEREAS, the City's Selection Committee has reviewed all the submittals and found the submittals by Ashbritt, Inc., CERES Environmental Services, Inc., and Crowder- Gulf to be the most responsive and responsible and adequate for any declared disaster, and recommends approval. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the agreement with Ashbritt, Inc. (attached as "Exhibit A"), and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED and ADOPTED thiS~~ day of frý , AD 2005.
