<br />RESOLUTION 05-1621 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />REVISING THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR PERMITS FOR ROADWAY AND <br />UTILITY CONSTRUCTION IN PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND <br />EASEMENTS, SUBDIVISIONS AND COMMERCIAL SITES; PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 68 of the City of Casselberry Code of Ordinances (Code) <br />sets forth the requirements for roadway and utility construction within the City of <br />Casselberry; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 68-41 of that Chapter requires a City construction permit for <br />all work covered by that Chapter in City rights-of way, easements or improvements on <br />private property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 68-47(a) of that Chapter states that fees for a City <br />construction permit shall be set by the City Manager and the City Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said fees were last set by Resolution No. 537 adopted April 7, 1986; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, construction itself, construction permitting and personnel costs for <br />construction inspectors have changed considerably since adoption of Resolution No. 537. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. Resolution No. 537 is hereby rescinded. <br /> <br />SECTION II. The permit fees for construction of improvements delineated in <br />Chapter 68, Roadway and Utility Construction, shall be assessed according to the <br />following schedule: <br /> <br />1 . Site Development and Subdivision Construction <br />a. Inspection Fee - 1.00% of the total construction cost of all paving; <br />drainage; sidewalks; curbing; and potable water, reclaimed water and <br />sanitary sewer utilities. <br />b. Minimum Fee - $500.00. <br /> <br />2. Riaht-of-Wav Use <br />a. Inspection Fee - 1.00% of the total construction cost of all underground <br />and aboveground utilities. <br />b. Minimum Fee - $200.00. <br />c. This fee is waived for utilities with a franchise agreement with the City of <br />Casselberry. ~ <br />
