RESOLUTION 09-1994 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO.3 TO AN AGREEMENT WITH INWOOD <br />CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC. FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR ANCHOR <br />ROAD; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined the need to provide pedestrian, drainage, roadway, <br />and utility enhancements that will serve surrounding low-income areas on Anchor Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the Anchor Road Improvements Project is a joint City -County project that <br />includes multiple funding sources, including funding from the City, Seminole County, and Federal <br />Government; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result of a community meeting held in the East Altamonte neighborhood, <br />the City and County staff have determined changes to the design plans are necessary; and <br />WHEREAS, Inwood Consulting Engineers, Inc. has provided the City with a proposal for <br />additional services to effect the necessary design changes in the amount of $28,916.64; and <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funding for these additional design services are available from <br />Community Development Block Grant funds the City has been awarded for this project; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff have reviewed the proposal from Inwood Consulting Engineers, <br />Inc. and found it to adequate to meet the project requirements of the City. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves Change <br />Order No. 3 to an Agreement with Inwood Consulting Engineers, Inc., attached as Exhibit `A', and <br />authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
