RESOLUTION 24-3479 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON <br />WILSHIRE BOULEVARD TO SEMINOLE COUNTY FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FIRE STATION; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, City and Seminole County entered into an Interlocal on December 22, 2014, <br />to provide fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to CITY (the original Interlocal plus <br />amendments referred to as the "Interlocal"); and <br />WHEREAS, City and Seminole County entered into a First Amendment to the Interlocal on <br />February 14, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution 24-3477 the City approved a Second Amendment to the <br />Interlocal that includes details regarding the conveyance of approximately two acres of the Wilshire <br />Property to be developed exclusively for a COUNTY EMS/Fire/Rescue station; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to convey the Wilshire Boulevard property to <br />Seminole County pursuant to the hlterlocal. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the <br />conveyance of the real property described in Attachment A, attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof, to Seminole County pursuant to the Interlocal as approved in Resolution 24-3477. <br />SECTION 2. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION 4. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />passage and adoption. <br />
