CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CITY TREE ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />(CTAC) <br />The City of Casselberry City Tree Advisory Committee held a meeting on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at <br />5:00 P.M. in the Casselberry City Hall, Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br />Members present: <br />Kelly Brock <br />Dean Fathelbab <br />Chuck Smith <br />Emily Hanna <br />Mark Gisclar <br />Members absent: <br />Steve Spencer <br />First Item of Business: Call to Order/Roll Call. <br />The meeting was called to order by Mr. Fathelbab at 5:09 p.m. Roll was called; a quorum was present. <br />Second Item of Business: Tree City USA and Growth Award Requirements. <br />Mr. Brock began a discussion about the Tree City USA recertification process. Ms, Dai was recognized as <br />the project manager for the recertification. Mr. Brock continued by sharing the requirements for the Growth Award. <br />Discussion ensued to determine if the City could meet the award criteria. <br />Third Item of Business: Tree Ordinance Approved. <br />The Committee discussed the tree ordinance changes that were approved by the City Commission. <br />Fourth Item of Business: Adopt -A -Tree Program. <br />The Committee began discussion about the updated adopt -a -tree application and program requirements. <br />The Committee discussed the draft application and a tentative 2019 fall planting schedule. Discussion continued <br />about program funding. <br />Fifth Item of Business: Other Business. <br />The Committee discussed the next meeting date. The CTAC voted to approve its next meeting to be held on <br />October 17, 2018 at 4:30pm. <br />
