RESOLUTION 13 -2558 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br />SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT #5 TO THE CONTINUING <br />PROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES CONTRACT <br />WITH ASSOCIATED CONSULTING INTERNATIONAL, INC. <br />TO PROVIDE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR "CITY <br />CENTER "; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY <br />AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City acquired 15.24 acres along U.S. Hwy. 17 -92 at Triplet Lake Drive <br />for purposes of developing a City Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is desirous of successfully completing a public - private partnership <br />with a developer to complete the City Center; and <br />WHEREAS, parking and reconfiguration improvements will be needed for Triplet Lake <br />Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, two alternative site and roadway design plans were considered and a <br />decision made to realign and reposition Triplet Lake Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the need to further develop the design, engineering and landscape of the <br />architectural site composition and civil engineering criteria is required; and <br />WHEREAS, Associated Consulting International, Inc. (ACi) has provided a proposal in <br />the amount of $59,660 to accomplish the necessary work; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the proposed Supplemental Agreement #5 to <br />the contract with ACi and finds it sufficient to meet the needs of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves <br />Supplemental Agreement #5 to the Continuing Professional Development Management Services <br />Contract with Associated Consulting International, Inc. for design, engineering and landscape of <br />
