Cristina Viv6, Director of Personnel.~]C~ <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Employee Health Insurance Coverage <br /> <br />Thi~ is a request for the City Commission to approve the <br />recommendations contained in the two memoranda attached. <br /> <br />The first memorandum recommends action from the City Employee <br />Health Insurance Committee. The Committee met and reviewed health <br />insurance proposals submitted by interested providers and <br />recommends that <br /> <br />1. The City keep the current health insurance provider-Cigna; <br /> and <br /> <br />2. The City maintain the level of the current health insurance <br /> benefits. <br /> <br />The second memorandum addresses the contributions to health <br />insurance made by the City and the employees. The memorandum <br />recommends that the allocation of contributions to the health <br />insurance benefit change to KMO Select and H~IO Select dependent. <br />There is no change recommended to the standard HMO or the POS <br />contributions. The memorandum recommends as follows: <br /> <br />1. The City pay 100% of the HMO Select employee coverage; and <br /> <br />2.
