RESOLUTION 04-1483 - SUPPORTING THE EFFORTS OF SEMINOLE <br /> COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND THE FLORIDA <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO EXPEDITE THE DESIGN AND <br />ENGINEERING WORK FOR THE U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92 AND STATE ROAD <br /> <br />436 OVERPASS PROJECT <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to read Resolution 04-1483 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Doerner. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 04-1483 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, SUPPORTING THE <br />COMBINED EFFORTS OF THE SEMINOLE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS AND THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO <br />EXPEDITE THE DESIGN AND ENGINEERING WORK FOR THE OVERPASS <br />TRANSPORTATION PROJECT AT U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92 AND S. R. 436; PROVIDING <br />FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Clifton stated Resolution 04-1483 formally requests the Seminole County Board <br />of County Commissioners and the Florida Department of Transportation to work together to advance the <br />design and engineering work for the project. Staff recommended approval of Resolution 04-1483. <br /> <br />Audience Participation: <br /> <br />1) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, spoke in favor of Resolution 04-1483 and <br />voiced concerns regarding traffic patterns going in and out of the area and timing <br />synchronization at adjacent intersections. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to approve Resolution 04- <br />1483 as presented.
