CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of January 12, 2004 - Regular Meeting Page 9 of 24 Audience Participation: 1) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, inquired if the pumhase of Lake Concord lake bottom was within the City's limits. Mr. Clifton responded that the parcel was within the City limits. MOTION: Vice Mayor Clark moved to approve the Special Invoice and Minor Contracts/Amendments Authorization Report dated January 12, 2004 as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hart. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE 04-1112 - SMALL SCALE FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT - LEONARD CASSELBERRY PROPERTY ON BELLE AVENUE (LPA 03-09) MOTION: Vice Mayor Clark moved to read Ordinance 04-1112 by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hart. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. The City Clerk read Ordinance 04-1112 by title as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE MAP ESTABLISHING THE ~ LAND USE DESIGNATION OF INDUSTRIAL (I) FOR THOSE PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Presentation: Mr. Wells stated Ordinance 04-112 provides for amendment of the Future Land Use Map for the subject property which was previously annexed into the City via Ordinance 03-1089 from Seminole County Industrial to City of Casselberry Industrial. The property is less than 10 acres which allows for the amendment to be process as a Small Scale Future Land Use Map Amendment, pursuant to 163.3187(1)(c), (2)(a), and (3), Florida Statutes. The Planning & Zoning Commission voted 6-0 to recommend approval of the amendment at its December 10, 2003 meeting. Staffreeommended approval of Ordinance 04-1112 on first reading.
