RESOLUTION 04- 1486 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING WEST <br />FLORIDA MAINTENANCE, INC., TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE <br />HOWELL PARK WATER PLANT TANK PAINTING PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has determined it necessary to paint the water tanks <br />at the Howell Park Water Plant; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry advertised for bids to provide all necessary labor, <br />materials, equipment, tools and services needed for the Howell Park Water Plant Tank Painting <br />project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 18, 2004, the City opened competitive, sealed bids for said <br />construction project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, West Florida Maintenance, Inc. was the lowest bidder on this project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed the bid proposal contract of West Florida <br />Maintenance, Inc. and found it complete, competitive and adequate for the project and <br />recommends approval. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, hereby accepts the <br />contract agreements with West Florida Maintenance, Inc., attached as "Exhibit A", and authorizes <br />the Mayor to sign the enclosed agreements. <br /> <br /> SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. Effective Date.
