RESOLUTION - 04-1481 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF GLATTING, JACKSON, KERCHER, ANGLIN, LOPEZ, RINEHART, INC. TO PROVIDE TRADITIONAL DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE CITY HALL CAMPUS PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry advertised for design and engineering firms to provide qualifications for traditional design and engineering services; and WHEREAS, City staff selected Gtatting, Jackson, Kercher, Anglin, Lopez, Rinehart, Inc. to design The City Hall Campus Project, at a fee not to exceed $139,400, and; WHEREAS, City has reviewed the proposed contract for Glatting, Jackson, Kercher, Anglin, Lopez, Rinehart, Inc. and found it to be complete, competitive and adequate for the project and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission hereby accepts the agreement with Glatting, Jackson, Kercher, Anglin, Lopez, Rinehart, Inc. attached as "Exhibit A" and authorizes the Mayor to execute document on behalf of the City of Casselberry. SECTION lI. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolutinn are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Sevembility. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED and ADOPTED this cxq~7~/a/day of~ - ~~'"~ , AD 2004.
