RESOLUTION 04-1471 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND KIRKLAND'S PEST MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC. TO PROVIDE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR ClTY PARKS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, The City of Casselberry advertised for Landscape Maintenance Services, City Parks; and WHEREAS, Kirkland's Pest Management Services, Inc. was the low bidder at a cost of $45,982.00 per year; and WHEREAS, The Purchasing Agent for the City of Casselberry and the Parks and Recreation Director have reviewed the bid of Kirkland's Pest Management Services Inc. and found it to be the most responsive and responsible bid and recommend approval. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby accepts the contract with Kirkland's Pest Management Services Inc. attached as "Exhibit A", and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. The City Commission hereby accepts the terms and conditions as presented in said Contract. SECTION III. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION IV. Severabilit3'. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION V. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED and ADOPTED this ATTEST: day of ~¢.,~-/t~4 ,A.D. 2004. Thelma L.
