RESOLUTION 04- 1 4 7 2 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING <br />SUNSHINE BUILDING & DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO PROVIDE <br />CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE CDBG LAKE KATHRYN PARK <br />NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has undertaken to construct sanitary sewer, and <br />sidewalk installations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry advertised for bids to provide all necessary labor, <br />materials, equipment, tools and services needed for the CDBG Lake Kathryn Park Neighborhood <br />Improvements project and Sunshine Building & Development Corporation was the 2nd lowest <br />bidder on this project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 17, 2003, the City opened competitive, sealed bids for said <br />construction project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed the bid proposal contract of Sunshine Building & <br />Development Corporation and found it complete, competitive and adequate for the project and <br />recommends approval. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, hereby accepts the <br />contract agreements with Sunshine Building & Development Corporation, attached as "Exhibit A", <br />and authorizes the Mayor to sign the enclosed agreements. <br /> <br /> SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION II1. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />fome, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. Effective Date.
