<br />FILE NUM 2003030501 <br />OR BOOK 04715 PAGE 1474 <br /> <br />Section 3. The City Commission of the City ofCasselbeny, Florida does hereby find that <br />the lands described in Section 1 are contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of <br />Casselbeny, Florida, that said lands meet the criteria established by Chapter 171, Florida <br />Statutes, that said lands should be annexed, and hereby consent to the annexation. <br /> <br />Section 4. Upon annexation, the lands described in Section 1 shall retain a zoning and land <br />use classification established by the Seminole County Zoning Ordinance and Comprehensive <br />Land Use Plan until otherwise changed or amended by appropriate ordinance of the City of <br />Casselbeny, Florida. <br /> <br />Section 5. Effective commencing January 1, 2002, all real property lying within the <br />boundaries of the corporate limits of the City of Cassel be ny, Florida, as hereby revised, shall <br />be assessed for payment of municipal ad valorem taxes pursuant to law. <br /> <br />Section 6. All persons who have been lawfully engaged in any occupation, business, trade <br />or profession within the area described in Section 1 above, upon the effective date of this <br />Ordinance under a valid license or permit therefore issued by Seminole County, Florida, <br />shall have right to continue such occupation, business, trade or profession within the entire <br />corporate limits of the City of Casselbeny, as revised, upon the securing of a valid <br />occupational license from the City of Casselbeny, which license shall be issued upon <br />payment of the appropriate fee therefore, without the necessity of taking or passing any <br />additional examination or test relating to the qualifications of such licenses. <br /> <br />Section 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance with <br />the Office of the Secretary of the State of Florida, the Office of the Governor of the State of <br />Florida, the Clerk of Court of Seminole County, Florida, the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Seminole County, Florida, the Seminole County Property Appraiser and <br />the Seminole County Tax Collector, within 7 days from the effective date of the ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 8. Codification. It is the intention of the City Commission of the City of <br />Casselbeny, Florida, and it is hereby ordained, that the provisions of this Ordinance shall <br />become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselbeny, Florida; <br />that the Sections of this Ordinance may be renumbered or relettered to accomplish such <br />intention; that the word, "Ordinance," may be changed to "Section," "Article," or other <br />appropriate word. <br /> <br />Section 9. Conflicts. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />October, 2002 <br /> <br />Ordinance 1102-1073, Page 2 of 3 <br />
