Wells, AICP, <br />Community Development Director <br />95 Triplet Lake Drive <br />Casselberry, FL 32707 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE # 02.1068 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE <br />OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE MAP ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATIONS OF COMMERCIAL (C) FOR THAT PARCEL DESCRIBED IN <br />SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, <br />AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Whereas, a Public Hearing on the question of amending the Seminole County commercial future land <br />use designation of the property hereinafter described, has been duly held in the City of Casselberry, Florida <br />and at such hearing, interested parties and citizens for and/or against the proposed establishment of the <br />City of Casselberry commercial future land use designation were heard; <br /> <br />Whereas, the Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission/Land Planning Agency has held a public <br />hearing with due public notice to consider the comprehensive plan amendment; <br /> <br />Whereas, after said Public Hearing, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, has held <br />a public hearing to consider the comprehensive plan amendment and has determined that the Future Land <br />Use designation of said property shall be established as Commercial as those designations are defined in <br />Future Land Use Element Policies FLU 1.8, as amended and supplemented, of the Comprehensive Plan of <br />the City of Casselberry, Florida; and <br /> <br />Whereas, such amendments are permitted subject to the provisions of F.S. Chapter 163, and FAC <br />Rule 9J-11. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I.
