Wells, AICP, <br />Community Development Director <br />95 Triplet Lake Drive <br />Casselberry, FL 32707 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE /I 02-1053 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE MAP ESTABLISHING THE <br />FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATIONS OF COMMERCIAL (C), LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (LDR) AND PUBLIC <br />SERVICE (PS). FOR THOSE PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Whereas, a Public Hearing on the question of establishing a future land use designation of the property <br />hereinafter described has been duly held in the City of Casselberry, Florida and at such hearing, interested parties <br />and citizens for and/or against the proposed establishment of the future land use designation were heard; <br /> <br />Whereas, the Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission/Land Planning Agency has held a public hearing <br />with due public notice to consider the comprehensive plan amendment; <br /> <br />Whereas, after said Public Hearing, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, has held a publiC <br />hearing to consider the comprehensive plan amendment and has determined that the Future Land Use designations <br />of said properties shall be established as Commercial, Low Density Residential, and Public Service as those <br />designations are defined in Future Land Use Element Policies FLU 1.8, FLU 1.1 and FLU 1.11 as amended and <br />supplemented, of Comprehensive Plan of the City of Casselberry, Florida, and <br /> <br />Whereas, such amendments are permitted subject to the provisions of Chapter 163, F.S. and Rule 9J-11, <br />FAC. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. That Chapter 66, Section 66.29 of the City of Casselberry Code, as amended and supplemented, <br />said Chapter adopting the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Casselberry, Florida, regulating and restricting the use <br />of lands located within the City of Casselberry, Florida, be, and the same is hereby amended by this amendment to: <br />the Official Future Land Use Map to include property as Commercial, Low Density Residential, and Public Service as <br />requested by the owner of said land described as. <br /> <br />1.
