<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF
<br />CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY UPDATING THE OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE
<br />MAP; IMPLEMENTING POLICY CHANGES TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
<br />RECOMMENDED BY THE EVALUATION AND APPRAISAL REPORT; AND UPDATING CITY
<br />POPULATION PROJECTIONS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS,
<br />SEVERABILITY, AND AN.EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />Whereas, a Public Hearing on the question of implementing the City's Comprehensive Plan Evaluation and
<br />Appraisal Repon has been duly held in the City of Casselbeny, Florida and at such hearing, interested pames and
<br />citizens for and! or against the proposed atnendmems were heard;
<br />
<br />Whereas, the Casselheny Planning and Zoning Commission/Land Planning Agency has held a public
<br />hearing with due public notice to consider the comprehensive plan atnendmems;
<br />
<br />Whereas, after said Public Hearing, the City Commission of the City of Casselbeny, Florida, has held a
<br />public hearing to considenhe comprehensive plan atnendmems, and
<br />
<br />Whereas, such atnendmems are pennined subject to the provisions of Olapter 163, F.S. and Rule 9]-11,
<br />FAC
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE aTY COMMISSION OF THE aTY OF
<br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />SECfION I. That Olapter 66, Section 66-29 of the City of Casselbeny Code, as atnended and
<br />supplememed, said Olapter adopting the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Casselbeny, Florida, regulating and
<br />restricting the use of lands located within the City of Casselbeny, Florida, be, and the Satne is herebyatnended by
<br />this atnendment LP A 00- P-08 to: Amend the Policies of the Comprehensive Plan; atnend the Official Future Land
<br />Use Map; and update the population projections of the City as required by Olapter 163, Florida Statutes as shown
<br />in the attached schedule A
<br />
<br />SECfION II. CodificatiolL It is the intention of the City Commission of the City of Casselbeny,
<br />Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of the
<br />Comprehensive Plan 1990-2010 of the City of Casselbeny, Florida; and Adopted Future Land Use Map that the
<br />Sections of this Ordinance may be renumbered or re-lettered to accomplish such intention; that the word,
<br />"Ordinance," may be changed to "Section," "Article," or other appropriate word.

<br />SECTION IV. Conflicts. All Ordinances or partS of Ordinances in conflict with any of the provisions of
<br />this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
<br />
<br />SECTION IV. Severability. If any Section or ponion of a Section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid,
<br />unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other
<br />Section or part of this Ordinance.
<br />
<br />SECTION V. Effective Date. The Comprehensive Plan Amendments contained in this Ordinance shall
<br />become effective immediately when the State Land Planning Agency issues a final order determining the adopted
<br />atnendment to be in compliance in accordance with Section 163.3 184(9) Florida Statutes, or when the
<br />Administration Commission issues a final order determining the adopted atnendment to be in compliance in
<br />accordance with Section 163.3184(10) Fl rida Sta e, whichever occurs first.
