<br />ORDINANCE # 00-994 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL FUTURE <br />LAND USE MAP ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF <br />COMMERCIAL. FOR THAT PARCEL DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF TillS <br />ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Whereas, a Public Hearing on the question of establishing a future land use designation of the <br />property hereinafter described has been duly held in the City of Casselberry, Florida and at such <br />hearing, interested parties and citizens for and/or against the proposed establishment of the future <br />land use designation were heard; <br /> <br />Whereas, the Casselberry Planning and Zoning CommissionlLand Planning Agency has held a <br />public hearing with due public notice to consider the comprehensive plan amendment; <br /> <br />Whereas, after said Public Hearing, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, <br />has held a public hearing to consider the comprehensive plan amendment and has determined that the <br />Future Land Use designation of said property shall be established as Commercial as that designation <br />is defined in Future Land Use Element Policy FLU A (7), as amended and supplemented, of <br />Comprehensive Plan of the City of Casselberry, Florida, and <br /> <br />Whereas, such amendments are permitted subject to the provisions of Chapter 163, F.S. and <br />Rule 9J-11 , FAC. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I.
