<br />RESOLUTION 94-826 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND <br />IMPLEMENTING AN INVESTMENT POLICY FOR CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />INVESTMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to implement an Investment Policy to set a standard to be used by city staff <br />in the management of the City's investment portfolio; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the primary objective of the investment activities is the protection of the City funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the investment strategy will provide sufficient liquidity to meet the City's operating, payroll <br />and capital requirements, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this policy will strive to maximize the return on investments and minimize the risk. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City of Casselberry Investment Policy attached hereto and dated March 1994 is <br />hereby accepted and approved. <br /> <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions <br />of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, <br />unlawful, or uoconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other <br />Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date.
