<br />RESOLUTION 07-1760 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 TO THE STANDARD <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING INSPECTION <br />(CEI) SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND DYER, RIDDLE, <br />MILLS & PRECOURT, INC., (DRMP); PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, <br />AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, On February 12, 2007, the City Commission approved a Standard <br />Consultant Agreement for Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) services with Dyer, <br />Riddle, Mills & Precourt, Inc., (DRMP); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry is desirous of ensuring that the Triplet Lake Drive and <br />US Highway 17-92 Intersection Improvements Project (Project 0610) is constructed in compliance <br />with the plan set, is within budget, and on-time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Department feels that the assistance for CEI services would <br />be in the City's best interest; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff has received Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the contract for <br />CEI services with DRMP, specifically for the Triplet Lake Drive and US Highway 17-92 <br />Intersection Improvements Project (Project 0610), and has found the supplement to be <br />adequate and favorable to the City. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves <br />Supplemental Agreement NO.1 to the contract for Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) <br />services with DRMP (attached hereto as "Exhibit A"), and authorizes the Mayor to execute said <br />document on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date.
