Solomon by the City Attorney: I, Sandra T. Solomon, do solemnly swear that I will support, protect and defend the Constitution and Government of the United States and of the State of Florida; that I am duly qualified to hold office under the Constitution of the State, and that I will well and faithfully perform the duties of Commissioner of the City of Casselberry, Florida, on which I am now about to enter. Selection of Vice Mavor Commissioner Hufford nominated Commissioner Susan Doerner to serve as Vice Mayor. There were no other nominations and Commissioner Doerner was unanimously selected as Vice Mayor of the City Commission for 2007. 9. Citizens' Comments - The Mayor stated that persons who wish to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the Agenda may do so at this time. Please raise your hand to be recognized, give your name and address to speak on any matter. All comments are to be directed to the Mayor and City Commission. If you wish to be heard during Public Hearings, you will be recognized at that time. The following individuals came forward to address the Commission: I) Bishop Dorman of the Church ofthe Later Day Saints presented a plaque to the Commission in appreciation of their support of Family Month which was celebrated in September 2006. 2) Charlene Glancy, 210 NE Triplet Drive, Casselberry, Florida, congratulated and welcomed the new Commission and looked forward to a new start in working together to accomplish great things in the City of Casselberry. 3) Hal Billerbeck, 531 Sundown Trail, Casselberry, Florida, also congratulated the new Commissioners elected on November 7,2006, stating that the voters have spoken and he looked forward to a fresh start and things moving forward for the future.
