<br />RESOLUTION 06-1706 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. I TO THE <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE ST. JOHNS RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT <br />DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY TO BE THE COORDINATOR FOR THE SEMINOLE <br />COUNTY WATER SUPPLY PLAN DEVELOPMENT; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 23, 2004, City Commission approved the County-Wide Water Supply <br />Planning Interlocal Agreement between the seven cities in Seminole County and the County agreeing to <br />be a party to the subject Water Supply Planning effort; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 23, 2005, City Commission approved the agreement with the District to <br />coordinate the Seminole County Water Supply Plan Development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and the District desire to modifY the Agreement in order to incorporate and <br />replace specific service tasks that will not impact the allocated budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has reviewed Amendment No. I and found the <br />submittal to be adequate for the project, and recommends approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves Amendment No. I <br />to the Agreement between the St Johns River Water Management District and the City of Casselberry for <br />Seminole County Water Supply Plan Development (attached hereto as "Exhibit A"), and authorizes the <br />Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be <br />invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect <br />of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date.
