Audit Presentation - Resolution 06-1639 - Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for Fiscal Year <br />Ended September 30, 2005 (Presented by Dan O'Keefe, Auditor) <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 06-1659 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL <br />FINANCIAL REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2005; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />StaffPresentatiou: The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for Fiscal Y ear ended September30, 2005 <br />meets the requirements of Florida Statutes. Highlights of the Report are as follows: <br /> <br />. Statement of Net Assets - $63,064,178; City is in Excellent Shape Financially <br />. General Fund Unreserved Balance of$5.4 Million, which meets the 25% Fund Minimum <br />Balance <br />. City Stayed within Budget Parameters and did not Exceed Expenditures <br />City did not have to utilize Fund Balance for 2004 Hurricane Relief; All FEMA monies <br />have been received <br />. City received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the <br />Fiscal Year Ended September 30, 2004 <br /> <br />Staff Recommeudatiou: Approve Resolution 06-1639 and accept the Comprehensive Annual Financial <br />Report for Fiscal Year Ended September 30,2005. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Linda Hart to approve <br />Resolution 06-1659 and accept the Compreheusive <br />Annual Financial Report for Year Ended September <br />30, 2005.
