<br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-1673 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, ADOPTING A CODE OF BOARDMANSHIP <br />POLICY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the perfonnance of duties and responsibilities of elected and appointed Board <br />and Commission Members and the manner in which their duties are perfonned have direct impact on <br />the reputation of the City of Casselberry and on the morale of both employees and residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City COIl111),i~ion of the City of Casselberry considered the attached Code <br />of Boardman ship policy at the Aprilp?," 2006, City Commission meeting, and the City Commission <br />adopted said policy at that meeting and requested it be put in Resolution fonn. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby adopts the Code <br />of Boardman ship policy attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof, as a public statement <br />of expected Board and Commission Member Conduct and Ethics, and that each member of <br />Casselberry's elected and appointed Boards shall, at their first meeting after election or appointment, <br />pledge their willingness to uphold the attached policy by affixing their signatures thereto. For <br />elected City Commissioners, the act shall be voluntary. For all appointed Boards, signature shall be <br />a mandatory requirement for appointment. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Effective Date.
