Fortini, Director <br />Parks & Recreation Department <br />95 Triplet Lake Drive <br />Casselberry, FL 32707·3399 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 06-1173 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING SUBSECTION J, IMPACT FEE FOR PARKS AND <br />RECREATION, OF SECTION 4-19.2, REQUIRED IMPROVEMENTS AND <br />DESIGN CRITERIA, OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES, PART III, <br />UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, TO REVISE THE PARK <br />AND RECREATION IMPACT FEE; PROVIDING AN ANNUAL INFLATION <br />RATE FACTOR; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION, <br />CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission has previously determined, by the adoption of Section 4-19.2 <br />(J), Dedication of park land for residential developments, as part of Part III, Unified Land Development <br />Regulations, of the Casselberry City Code, in 1998, that it is in the best interest of the City of <br />Casselberry to establish park impact fees to require new development to pay their equitable share of <br />parks improvements to serve the new growth; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has determined that the current impact <br />fee is insufficient based on current standards, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and the Planning & Zoning Commission <br />recommend revising the amount of the park impact fee and providing an annual inflation rate factor to <br />better serve the citizens; <br />
