<br />CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of September 26, 2005 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of 10 <br /> <br />Commissioner Colleen Hufford - Seat #4: <br />· Commended all City staff who assisted with the recent 5K run. <br />· Noted she attended the Office Depot grand opening along with Mayor Goff and Commissioner Cook <br />held September 22,2005. <br />· Noted she attended the City Hall art exhibit opening held September 20,2005. <br />· Inquired if a proclamation would be presented to Sgt. Diaz at the block party. Mr. Segreto stated <br />Sgt. Diaz will be recognized at the October 10, 2005 City Commission meeting. <br />· Inquired why the Unicorp sign was removed from the property across the street from City Hall. Mr. <br />Segreto stated Unicorp's contractor was supposed to only remove the signs located on parcels that <br />they were not currently under negotiation with the City, but removed all of the signs by mistake. <br />Mr. Segreto further stated the appropriate signs will be replaced. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Linda Hart - Seat #3: <br />· No report. <br /> <br />Mayor Bob Goff - Seat #5: <br />· Reported the Stormwater and Parks & Recreation subcommittees made reports at the last Joint <br />City/County Committee meeting, and that items were beginning to move forward to be accomplished <br />in an appropriate time frame. <br /> <br />13. STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />Tony Segreto - Interim City Manager: <br />· Distributed the FEMA accounting to date, and noted the final payment of $132,000 will be wired <br />to the City within the next week. <br />· Thanked staff for the assistance with the budget preparation. <br /> <br />Catherine Reischmann - City Attorney: <br />Reported she has reviewed the title search and some of the historical documents on the golf course, <br />and has been assisted with the expertise of the long time former City Attorney, Ken McIntosh. <br />Further reported that the deed restrictions on the property appear to be iron clad and felt the City is <br />in a good position to defend anything that the golf course may bring. <br /> <br />14.
