NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Article II, SEWERS, Section 86-31 (c) Connection to public system, of the City Code of the City of Casselberry, Florida, is hereby revised as follows: (c) Connection to public system. The owner of a orooerlv functionina orivate sewaae treatment and .s!isoosal svstem must connect the svstem or the builgina's olumbina to an availabl~ ID!,blic sanitarY sewer wi~~in 365 davs after written notification bv the Citv that the svstem is available for connection. The City ~ill notifv the owner of !he orivate sewaae treatment and disoosal svstem of the avail~bilitv of the oublic sanitarY sewer. No less than 1 vear orior to the date the oublic sanitarY sewer Will become available. the Citv will notifv the affected owner of the orivate sewaae treatment and disoosal svstem 0(" the anticioated availabilitv of the oublic sanitarY sewer and ~hall also notify the owner that the owner will be reouired to connect to the oul;¡lic sanitarY sewer within 1 vear of .the actual availat;>ilitv. The private sewage treatment and disposal system or septic tank shall be cleaned and abandoned as directed by the controlling regulatory agencies or the City.
