RESOLUTION 05-1618 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD RELATING TO THE PROVISION OF TRANSPORTATION FOR CITY-SPONSORED PROGRAMS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABll..ITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has operated the senior and youth programs over the years with the purpose of providing wholesome recreational activities for the residents of the City of Casselbberry, Florida; and WHEREAS, recreational and educational trips from the City are considered a vital part of the programs; and WHEREAS, Seminole County School Board has successfully made bussing available to provide transportation for these trips and has been the primary provider for the City over the past nine years. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission approves entering into an agreement with the Seminole County School Board for the 2005/2006 school year providing for transportation for the purpose of City- sponsored programs and authorizes the Mayor to execute said contract, attached as "Exhibit A", on behalf of the City. SECTION n. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION m. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. passage and adoption. This Resolution shall become effective inunediately upon its PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th Day of September .2005.
