<br />RESOLUTION 05-1618 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD RELATING TO THE <br />PROVISION OF TRANSPORTATION FOR CITY-SPONSORED PROGRAMS; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABll..ITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has operated the senior and youth programs over the years with <br />the purpose of providing wholesome recreational activities for the residents of the City of Casselbberry, <br />Florida; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, recreational and educational trips from the City are considered a vital part of the <br />programs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Seminole County School Board has successfully made bussing available to provide <br />transportation for these trips and has been the primary provider for the City over the past nine years. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission approves entering into an agreement with the Seminole <br />County School Board for the 2005/2006 school year providing for transportation for the purpose of City- <br />sponsored programs and authorizes the Mayor to execute said contract, attached as "Exhibit A", on behalf <br />of the City. <br /> <br />SECTION n. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION m. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to <br />be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or <br />effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION IV.
