The revote ballots for the Planning & Zoning Commission <br />alternate member term effective to January 2006 were read into the record and tabulated as follows: <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner: <br />Commissioner Cook: <br />Vice Mayor Hart: <br />Commissioner Hufford: <br />Mayor Goff: <br /> <br />Sandra Solomon <br />Earl McMullen <br />Sandra Solomon <br />Sandra Solomon <br />Earl McMullen <br /> <br />Sandra Salomon was appainted as the alternate member ta the Planning & Zoning Cammission, term <br />effective ta January 2006. <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT: <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: There was one (I) unexpired term appointment to be made to the Board of Adjustment, <br />term effective to January 2007, due to Stanley Weinroth being appointed to the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission. The newly created alternate position also needed to be filled. <br /> <br />City Cammissian Discussian: Commissioner Doerner and Commissioner Hufford voiced concerns <br />regarding filling the vacancies created by moving board members from one board to another without <br />advertising for the new vacancies. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissianer Hufford maved ta postpane filling the <br />unexpired term of Stanley Weinrath an the Baard of <br />Adjustment ta the next City Commissian meeting. <br />Mation was seconded by Commissioner Doerner. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ON MOTION: Commissioner Doerner stated the selection order and process to consider <br />applicants for newly created vacancies and alternates needed to clarified in <br />the City Commission's written board appointment policies. <br /> <br />Mation failed 2 - 3 (Commissioner Cook, Vice Mayor <br />Hart and Mayar Goff dissenting) by vaice vote. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Cammissioner Cook moved ta appoint Earl McMullen <br />to the Baard af Adjustment ta fill the unexpired term <br />of Stanley Weinrath, term effective ta January 2007. <br />Mation was seconded by Vice Mayor Hart. Motion <br />carried 3 - 2 (Commissioner Doerner and <br />Commissioner Hufford dissenting) by vaice vate. <br /> <br />No action was taken by the City Commission to fill the alternate position on the Board of Adjustment. <br />
