Resolution 03-1395 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH HARRIS, COTHERMAN, O'KEEFE & ASSOCIATES, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry, Florida, wishes to enter into a contract with Harris, Cotherman, O'Keeefe & Associates, Certified Public Accountants, for external auditing services for a three-year period covering fiscal years 2003 through 2005; and WHEREAS, the City Commission ofthe City of Casselberry, Florida, authorizes the execution of the contract between the City and Harris, Cotherman, O'Keefe & Associates, Certified Public Accountants, by the Mayor for the time period specified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That Harris, Catherman, O'Keefe & Associates, Certified Public Accountants, shall perform external auditing services, and shall be compensated $37,500 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2003; $32,500 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2004; and $31,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2005. SECTION 11. The Mayor of the City of Casselberry is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City and is attached to and incorporated herein as Attachment A. SECTION 111. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of any Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION IV. Severability. If any section or portion of a section of this Resolution proves to be inva]id, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other section or part ofthis resolution.
