Motion <br />was seconded by Vice Mayor Hart. <br /> <br />Discussion on Motion: Commissioner Cook requested copies of the rankings for the Classification and <br />Compensation Study be distributed to the City Commission to compare how close the scores were for the <br />bids since the low bidder was not chosen. Commissioner Cook requested the study be considered <br />separately. <br /> <br />AMENDED <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissiouer Hufford moved to approve the Special <br />Invoice and Minor Contracts/Amendments <br />Authorization Report as amended by removing the <br />Award of Bid RFP #P05-05, Classification and <br />Compensation Study to be considered separately. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Hart. Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Award of Bid RFP #P05-05 - Classification and Comoensation Studv to MGT of America <br /> <br />Commission Discussion: Commissioner Cook questioned whether it would be more appropriate to wait <br />until a new City Manager was in place before doing the study. Mr. Segreto stated he thought it would be <br />appropriate to pursue the study prior to the placement of a new City Manager. Mr. Segreto offered as an <br />alternative that possibly the study could be conducted internally by City staff utilizing the Public <br />Personnel Policy Group and Florida League of Cities pay study data. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Cook moved to conduct the <br />Classification and Compensation Study internaUy and <br />not award Bid RFP #P05..o5. Motion died due to lack <br />of a second. <br />
