The Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry Part III, Article <br /> <br />II, Section 1-2.6, Planning and Zoning Commission designated, subsection (C), <br /> <br />"Membership" is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br />C. Membership. The City Planning and Zoning Commission <br />shall consist of seven volunteer members who shall be residents of <br />the City of Casselberry and shall remain City residents for the <br />duration of their memberships on the Commission. Members shall <br />be appointed by the City Commission for staggered two-year terms. <br />Four members shall be appointed by the City Commission at the <br />last regular meeting in January of each even numbered year, and <br />three members shall be appointed by the City Commission at the <br />last regular meeting in January in each odd numbered year. The alternate member shall onlv vote in the temDorarv <br />absence or disabilitv of anv reaular member or when a reaular <br />member is otherwise disQualified in a Darticular case. but in all <br />Qther reSDects shall be subiect to the same reaulations as anv other <br />Board member. such as attendance reauirements and term lim,ij§. <br />The members shall not be compensated for their time, but may <br />receive pre-approved expenses for necessary travel per diem <br />costs, or other expenses which are pre-approved and deemed <br />necessary to the official business of the City. <br /> <br />The terms of all members appointed shall commence on January <br />31 and shall be for a period of two years. The City Commission <br />shall make all appointments and shall fill any vacancy which may <br />arise on the City Planning and Zoning Commission. The City <br />Commission may remove any member of the City Planning and <br />Zoning Commission for neglect of duty, malfeasance in office, or for <br />unexcused absence from three consecutive meetings of the City <br />Planning and Zoning Commission, or for other good and sufficient <br />cause. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 05-1161 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
