This document prepared by: Catherine Reischmann Stenstrom, Mcintosh Post Office Box 4848 Sanford, FL 32772 ORDINANCE NO. 05-1164 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 2-7.9, ACCESSORY STRUCTURES, PART III, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS TO ALLOW TENT-LIKE STRUCTURES AS ACCESSORY STRUCTURES IF THEY MEET CERTAIN CRITERIA; ADDING DEFINITIONS TO SECTION 5-21.2, DEFINITION OF TERMS, FOR "BACK YARD" AND "TENT-LIKE STRUCTURE"; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry desires to amend Section 2-7.9 to allow the use of tent-like structures (including canopies and tents) as accessory structures, subject to certain criteria, including that the structures be properly permitted, screened from the street and located in the backyard; WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to differentiate between temporary accessory structures and permanent accessory structures; WHEREAS, the City Commission finds this amendment to be consistent with the comprehensive plan and in the best interest of the public; and WHEREAS, words with double underlined type shall constitute additions to the original text and words that are str¡,u;l{ thro,!:h shall constitute deletions to the original text.
