The additional <br />benefits proposed in this ordinance will come from "excess" monies of the State Insurance Premium Tax <br />Revenue and there will be no immediate cost to the City. The plan improvements proposed in the ordinance <br />will make the City's plan similarto the Florida Retirement System Plan and conforms to Florida Statutes 175 <br />and 185. <br /> <br />Audience Input: <br /> <br />1) Bernard Fudim, 906 Niblick Drive, Casselberry, Florida, questioned the fiscal prudence of the City <br />contributing 8% to the Pension fund when it was not mandatory according to the Actuary. Mr. <br />Dreier stated that the City made the contributions to minimize the impact of anticipated increases <br />in future expense. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Colleen Hufford to approve Ordinance 05-1165, <br />Pension Plan Upgrades, as preseuted. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried unanimously by voice vote. (5 -0) <br /> <br />The second reading and final Public Hearing will be scheduled for June 27, 2005. <br /> <br />F. Resolution 05-1586- <br />Award ofBid/A!!reement with Price Construction for Municipal Parkin!! Lot Proiect <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 05-1586 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING <br />PRICE CONSTRUCTION, INC. TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO CONSTRUCT A <br />MUNICIPAL PARKING LOT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, <br />AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />
