<br />RESOLUTION 05-1584 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING <br />THE EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE ST. JOHNS RIVER <br />WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY TO BE THE COORDINATOR <br />FOR THE SEMINOLE COUNTY WATER SUPPLY PLAN DEVELOPMENT; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its August 23, 2004 meeting, the City Commission approved the County- <br />Wide Water Supply Planning Interlocal Agreement between the seven cities in Seminole <br />County and the County agreeing to be a party to the subject Water Supply Planning effort; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the St. Johns River Water Management District wishes the City of <br />Casselberry to provide project management services regarding the consultant preparing said <br />Water Supply Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the St. Johns River Water Management District has prepared and the City of <br />Casselberry staff and City Attorney have reviewed the agreement between the two parties to <br />provide said services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry Public Works Department staff recommends that the <br />City of Casselberry approve said agreement. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the <br />Agreement between the St. Johns River Water Management District and the City of Casselberry <br />for Seminole County Water Supply Plan Development (attached hereto as "Attachment A"), and <br />authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date.
