<br />RESOLUTION 05-1573 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA,REVISlNG THE <br />SPECIAL INVOICE REPORT POLICY; DEFINING THE APPROVAL PROCESS <br />AND ESTABLISHING NEW GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTING INVOICES FOR <br />APPROVAL; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City adopts a balanced budget by resolution each fiscal year and such budget <br />authorizes and appropriates funds for proper expenditure by department of the City of Casselberry, Florida, <br />subject to all appropriate and relevant City regulations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to amend the approval process to streamline and clarify <br />the procedure used in submitting invoices on the Special Invoice Report. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission will continue to approve all invoices for legal services. <br /> <br />SECTION II. The City Commission will approve initial contracts for projects and Awards of Bids. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Change Orders on a project in excess of five (5%) of the total project will be <br />submitted to the Commission on the Special Invoice report for approval. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in contlict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION V. Severabilitv. lfany Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to <br />be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or <br />effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION VI.
