<br />d. A tally of the votes by Commissioners is taken, and, in order of the <br />number of votes each candidate receives, appointments are made, <br />with the highest vote getter being first, second highest next, and so <br />on, except that each appointment must receive the affirmative vote <br />of at least three Commissioners. <br /> <br />e. If ties exist, Commissioners will revote based upon the number of <br />vacancies and candidates available. Votes remain equal to the <br />number of vacancies available. <br /> <br />6. After appointment, Board members will be required to attend training <br />sessions, which will be offered to the members at various times throughout their terms <br />of office. Additionally, Board members will be notified of meeting attendance <br />requirements. <br /> <br />7. Board member shall be eligible to serve no more than three (3) <br />consecutive terms on a board or committee prior to being rotated off for at least one full <br />year or one full term of the board or committee in question (whichever is shorter). The <br />purpose of this restriction is to ensure that as many citizens as possible have an <br />opportunity to serve in some capacity that benefits the city. <br /> <br />2 <br />
