<br />WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that allowing establishments selling alcoholic <br />beverages, which are not restaurants, to locate less than 1,000 feet from each other would be <br />injurious to the contiguous or surrounding area, conducive to the spread of blight, and contrary to the <br />public interest; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission oj the City of Casselberry seeks to protect the health, <br />safety and welfare of the citizens of Casselberry; and <br />WHEREAS, text with double underlined tvoe shall constitute additions to the original text <br />and strike through shall constitute deletions to the original text. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. FINDINGS. The above findings (whereas clauses) are hereby adopted as <br />the legislative and administrative findings of the City Commission. The City Commission finds and <br />determines that there is competent substantial evidence to support the findings and determinations <br />made in this Section. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. PART II, CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 10, ALCOHOLIC <br />BEVERAGES, SECTION 10-7, SALE NEAR CHURCHES AND SCHOOLS, shall be revised as <br />jollows to provide an additional separation requirement between bars and to distinguish between on- <br />site consumption and retail sales: <br /> <br />SEC. 10-7.
