<br />RESOLUTION 05-1562 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING <br />THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH MICHAEL A. GOODMAN FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF PARCELS NO. 20-21-30-300-0A1C-0000 AND NO. 20-21-30- <br />300-0A1H-0000 LOCATED ON WILSHIRE BOULEVARD ALSO KNOWN AS <br />THE REPLACEMENT SITE FOR THE RED BUG LAKE ROAD FIRE STATION; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to acquire a site for future Public <br />Safety needs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry requires suitable property to replace the Red <br />Bug Lake Road fire station to better respond to Public Safety needs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has determined that the real property <br />identified as Parcels No. 20-21-30-300-0A 1 C-OOOO and No. 20-21-30-300-0A 1 H-OOOO <br />located on Wilshire Boulevard are suitably located for the expressed purpose of <br />constructing a future fire station; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to enter into an agreement to purchase <br />the above identified real property; and recommends approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the <br />Purchase Contract for Parcels No. 20-21-30-300-0A 1 C-OOOO and No. 20-21-30-300- <br />OA 1 H-OOO between Michael A. Goodman (seller) and the City of Casselberry (buyer) <br />(attached as "Exhibit A"), and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf <br />of the City. <br /> <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any <br />of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or <br />impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date.
